This song Cariño is a collaboration between ESSO and the salsa heavy Suena Latin Jazz crew. ÉSSO (El.Sonido.Sonic.Octopus) is a Chicago based live music ensemble fusing Latin and global urban roots music. Cariño is a story song about two individuals finding a spark and working toward retaining it.
Suena Latin Jazz is a powerful group of very talented musicians. Kevin Miller plays the saxophone, Stuart Seale plays the piano, José Abner plays the bass, Daniel Hernandez plays the timbales, JC Delgado plays the congas, and Willy Mollfulleda plays the bongos. Each member of our band brings a lot of skill and passion to the stage, making a blend of melodies that will move your soul and make you want to dance.
Our musical journey is influenced by the rich history of Latin music, which includes Salsa, Bossa Nova, Afro-Cuban, and other styles. We add the freedom and spontaneity of Jazz to these lively rhythms, making a unique mix that speaks to the depths of human feeling.
Suena Latin Jazz has been able to play at many different places over the years, from small jazz bars to big stages. Our music has filled the air at weddings, business events, festivals, and cultural celebrations, leaving a lasting mark on the hearts of everyone who has heard us play.
